Prosthodontics/Restorative dentistry has been defined as the dental specialty pertaining to the diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance of oral function, comfort, appearance, and health of patients with clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth and/or oral and maxillofacial issues. There are many different materials that have been used to replace lost or damaged parts of teeth. Tooth-colored composite resins and semi-precious metal crowns are the most common. Not every patient and not every tooth is a candidate for restorative dentistry. We would be glad to discuss this with you!
