Our entire staff at Texas Veterinary Dental Center, including our board-certified veterinary dentist, is committed to providing the highest level of care for your pets. Todd McCoy DVM, DAVDC

Dr. Todd McCoy completed undergraduate studies in Biology and Archaeology at the University of Houston in 1995. He graduated from the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. After several years of general practice, he entered a formal veterinary dentistry and oral surgery residency and became a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College in 2019. Dr. McCoy founded the Texas Veterinary Dental Center in 2014, and co-founded Lone Star Dentistry and Oral Surgery for Animals in 2022. His special interests are periodontal disease, endodontics, and oral surgery. Dr. McCoy is a member of the Board of Directors of the Harris County Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. He enjoys spending time with his wife and kids and two dogs on their rural property in East Texas.

Scarlett Green DVM

Dr. Scarlett Green earned her bachelor’s degree in biology at Henderson State University in 2016. She graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. After graduation she completed a small animal rotating internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists. She found her passion for small animal dentistry while in her second year of veterinary school through involvement with the campus dentistry club. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and chihuahua named Lucky and going to Walt Disney World any chance she can get.

Andrew Penn DVM

Dr. Andrew Penn grew up locally in Pearland, Texas. He received his bachelor’s in biomedical science from Texas A&M University in 2014 and was granted his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in early 2020 also from Texas A&M University. His areas of interest include veterinary dentistry, dermatology, and preventative care. He is a doting cat dad of two neutered male domestic shorthair cats named Calvin and Hobbes. Dr. Penn likes to spend his downtime spending time with his cats, working with them, and training them to run on an exercise wheel. His other hobbies include ballroom dancing, which he competed in collegiately during both his times at A&M.
